Mr. Gibbs currently serves as President and CEO of Fireweed Metals Corp. (TSX and OTC), a Canadian public company which is advancing its 100% owned Macpass zinc-lead-silver project and the Mactung tungsten project in the Yukon, Canada. Over the last 20 years, Mr. Gibbs has served as CFO for numerous public companies in the resource sector, including Filo Corp, Josemaria Resources Inc., which were both acquired by Lundin Mining Corporation in 2025 and 2022 respectively, Africa Oil Corp., Tanganyika Oil Company Ltd. and Valkyries Petroleum. Mr. Gibbs is a Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant and a graduate of the University of Calgary where he obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree.
